DOL’s OFCCP Publishes 2025 VEVRAA Benchmark
Got government contracts? If so, you are likely familiar with (and likely should have) a written affirmative action plan for protected veterans and individuals with disabilities. That’s not new.
What is new is the OFCCP’s delay in publishing this year’s benchmark for employing protected veterans. The figure is usually published on or about March 31st each year. It is not a mandate or requirement but a goal for the percentage of your workforce that should be a protected veteran.
This year, however, months have gone by with no update to last year’s figure of 5.2%. Until now, that is. On July 30th, OFCCP published the revised figure of 5.1%. The 7% utilization rate for individuals with disabilities remains the same.
