FREE WEBCAST! Shaping Public Policy – The DOL’s Proposed Overtime Rule
Deja vu all over again. In 2016, Ms. Walters testified before the U.S. House Committee on Small Business on behalf of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) regarding the then proposed new overtime rule.
On August 30th, the U.S. Department of Labor announced it will publish a proposed rule to again change the overtime rule. The last update was in 2020.
This program will review highlights of the proposed rule, the potential impact and implications for employers, and tips for drafting talking points to respond to the DOL’s requests for comments. By the close of the program, participants will be able to describe how the proposed rule will impact their organization, advocate in support or opposition to various proposals, inform and educate their organization’s key stakeholders in preparation for the final rule.
This program is pre-approved by SHRM for 1.5 credits and by HRCI for 1.5 business credits. This event is FREE! Click here to register.
