July 26th marks the 35th anniversary of enactment of the ADA. July is also Disability Pride month. Last year, the EEOC’s published charge statistics revealed disability-based charges hit their highest level since 1997! Every month, the EEOC’s news page lists multiple disability-based lawsuits that are settled for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
