COVID-19 Update: The FFCRA Regulations Are Out!
No doubt you have heard that, on April 1st ( that’s right…April 1st) the U.S. Department of Labor announced it posted a temporary rule issuing new regulations for the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). The regulations took effect the same date.
While I have not logged in each update, it seems at least once a day new information has come in since this law was enacted on March 18th. Rather than publish a dissertation here with the myriad employment implications of the FFCRA, FiveL Company will host a second webcast on this new law.
The first free webcast aired Friday, March 27th with more than 300 registrants. The next webcast will air Wednesday, April 8th from noon – 1:30 EDT and focus on the new regulations. This program is also FREE and is pre-approved by HRCI and SHRM for 1.5 credits.
Click here for the program agenda or to register. Virtual seating is limited to 200 registrations (unlimited # of people per log-in). Thereafter, you will be waitlisted and automatically receive a link and passcode to access the recording for FREE.
