FREE Webcast! Shaping Public Policy – EEOC’s Proposed Rule – Pregnant Workers Fairness Act
On Friday, August 11th, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission published a proposed rule to implement the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. The PWFA requires covered employers to provide reasonable accommodations to a qualified employee’s or applicant’s known limitation related to, affected by, or arising out of pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions, unless the accommodation will cause an undue hardship on the operation of the business of the covered entity.
The EEOC seeks feedback on at least 29 directed questions covering 13 Sections of the proposed rule. The deadline for submitting comments is October 10th.
Join this interactive webcast as we review key components of the rule including and not limited to:
- how this rule differs from and is broader than the ADA;
- considerations for responding to key questions asked; and
- shaping comments for a few surprise questions not asked!
