FREE EVENT – FTC’s Proposed Ban on Non-Competes & What You Can Do

On January 5th, the Federal Trade Commission announced its proposed rule that would effectively ban new and existing non-compete agreements. It also suggested that the rule may impact employers’ use of other employment agreements such as non-disclosure and no-solicitation agreements. Wait! That’s not all. The proposal also suggests a new rule might cover related policies in an Employee Handbook, even where no written agreement exists.

Join this interactive program as we walk through a select list of nearly 20 TALKING POINTS to submit comments by the deadline of March 10, 2023. These are specific issues for which the FTC seeks public comment.  Your voice will help shape this important public policy and help balance protecting workers’ ability to earn a living with employers’ need to protect certain investments of time and money.

This FREE EVENT is recommended for HR professionals, business owners, and managers. It is pre-approved by HRCI for 1.25 credits business credits and for 1.25 credits by SHRM. Noon – 1:15 p.m. ET   Click here to register to access the archived recording.
