Age Discrimination: Looks Can Be Deceiving

In June 2018, the U.S. EEOC published a report, “The State of Age Discrimination and Older Workers in the U.S. 50 Years After the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).” While the number and percentage of age discrimination charges filed over the last several decades has remained fairly steady, the demographics and nature of the charges has changed e.g., who is filing charges and for what reasons. Join this interactive program as we review:

  • changing demographics of the aging workforce;
  • demographics of who is filing charges;
  • nature and reasons of the charges being filed; and
  • EEOC’s recommended, proactive practices.

Join this interactive program as we look at practical examples, pitfalls to avoid and proactive practices to enhance inclusive employment policies and avoid legal liability along the way.

This program is pre-approved by HRCI & SHRM for 1.25 credits. Click here and then on the “View Session Recordings” button in the upper right corner to register.  $25 per person.
